El Centro’s Medical Assistant Program- The Schedule

The Medical Assistant program at El Centro College is a nine-month, full-time program that prepares students for an exciting and rewarding career in the medical field. The program consists of classroom, laboratory and clinical instruction, and provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to function as a medical assistant.

Classes are held Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Clinical rotations are scheduled according to the availability of hospitals and clinics, and may be held during the day or evening.
