The NJSMA’s goals are to promote professionalism and excellence in the medical assisting profession, to provide education and training opportunities for medical assistants, and to advocate on behalf of medical assistants in the state of New Jersey.
Who can join the Society?
Membership in the New Jersey Society of Medical Assistants (NJMSA) is open to any medical assistant who:
-Is a graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or
-Has been credentialed by the Certifying Board of the American Association of Medical Assistants or
-Has met other standards as may be set by the Board of Trustees from time to time.
