Introduction to NIMAA
NIMAA is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing Medical assistants with the education and training they need to excel in their field. NIMAA offers both online and in-person courses, as well as a variety of specialty programs. In addition to its educational offerings, NIMAA also provides members with access to a network of medical professionals, job resources, and other benefits.
NIMAA’s Mission and Goals
NIMAA’s mission is to provide Medical Assistants with the education and training they need to excel in their field. Our goal is to help medical assistants become more effective and efficient in their roles, so they can provide better care for patients.
NIMAA offers a variety of courses and programs that medical assistants can take advantage of, including certification programs, continuing education courses, and online learning opportunities. We also offer financial assistance to those who qualify.
NIMAA’s Programs and Services
NIMAA offers a variety of programs and services to support medical assistants and the medical profession as a whole. We offer continuing education courses for medical assistants, as well as certification and re-certification for those who wish to maintain their credential. We also offer resources and support for medical assistants who are looking to further their career through career advancement courses and programs.
NIMAA’s Accreditation
NIMAA is nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB).
NIMAA’s Faculty and Staff
The National Institute for medical assistant Advancement’s faculty and staff is highly qualified, experienced, and passionate about helping students succeed. We are dedicated to providing the best possible education and training to our students so they can excel in their field.
NIMAA’s Student Body
NIMAA’s student body is highly diverse, with students of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life. In order to best serve our students, we have a variety of programs and services in place to support them.
Each student is assigned a primary academic advisor, who they will work with throughout their time at NIMAA. Advisors help students develop an educational plan that fits their individual needs and goals, and provide guidance on course selection, degree requirements, and campus resources.
In addition to one-on-one advising, NIMAA also offers group advising sessions led by faculty members. These sessions cover a variety of topics, such as time management, study tips, test taking strategies, and more.
NIMAA provides a variety of services to support students in their academic pursuits. We have a state-of-the-art library on campus, which offers a wide collection of books, journals, databases, and other resources. Our writing center is staffed by trained tutors who can help students with all stages of the writing process, from brainstorming to editing. And our math lab offers drop-in tutoring for a variety of math courses.
We also offer academic success workshops throughout the year on topics such as goal setting, time management, stress relief, and more. These workshops are led by faculty members, staff members, and outside experts, and are open to all NIMAA students.
NIMAA’s Campus and Facilities
NIMAA’s campus is located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, close to public transportation, major freeways, and all the amenities of a large city. Our facilities are state-of-the-art and include a medical clinic, classroom space, and a library. We also have a beautiful outdoor courtyard where students can study or relax between classes.
NIMAA’s Alumni
National Institute for medical assistant Advancement (NIMAA) is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2004. NIMAA’s mission is “to provide quality educational programs and services which meet the needs of our students and the community, and to promote student success and economic development.” NIMAA offers both certificate and diploma programs in medical assisting, as well as a certification program for medical assistants who have difficulty passing the national certification exam.
NIMAA’s alumni are employed in various medical settings such as hospitals, clinics, physician’s offices, urgent care centers, and insurance companies. Many of our alumni are also involved in community outreach initiatives and volunteer work. We are proud of the accomplishments of our alumni and we are dedicated to helping them succeed in their chosen career paths.
NIMAA’s Media and Press
NIMAA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was established in 2014. NIMAA’s mission is to provide medical assistant training and education to individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in the medical field. NIMAA also strives to provide its students with the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully pass the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Exam.
