To apply for financial assistance you will need to complete an application and provide documentation of your current financial situation. Applying for Financial Assistance

To be considered for financial assistance, you must submit a completed application along with the required documentation to the Financial Assistance Office. Supporting documentation may include, but is not limited to:
*A copy of your most recent federal income tax return
*Wage and earnings statements for all family members

Applying for Medicaid

If you are a resident of Texas and you need help paying for medical care, you may be eligible for Medicaid. Medicaid is a state and federal program that provides medical assistance to low-income individuals and families. You can apply for Medicaid through the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC).

To be eligible for Medicaid in Texas, you must:

-Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident
-Be a resident of Texas
-Be age 65 or older, blind, or have a disability
-Have limited income and resources

Applying for Medicare

Medicare is a federal health insurance program for people who are 65 or older, certain younger people with disabilities, and people with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD).
