Why I Chose Keiser University’s medical assistant Program

There are many reasons why I chose Keiser University’s medical assistant program. The first reason is that the program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), which is the gold standard in accreditation for medical assistant programs. This meant that I could be sure that I was getting a quality education that would prepare me for my career.

Another reason I chose Keiser University is because of the small class sizes. This allowed me to get one-on-one attention from my instructors and really get to know my classmates. I felt like I was part of a community, not just another number in a large lecture hall.

Finally, I appreciate that Keiser University’s medical assistant program offers both online and in-person classes. This gave me the flexibility to complete my degree while still working and taking care of my family.

The Application Process

The application process for Keiser University’s Medical Assistant program is designed to be straightforward and flexible. Prospective students can complete the entire process online, and they are welcome to start the program at any of Keiser University’s campuses across the country.

The Program Itself

The Keiser University Medical Assistant program is a one-year, accredited program that prepares students for a career in the medical field. The program includes both classroom and clinical instruction, and students will have the opportunity to take the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) exam upon completion of the program.

The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including Medical Terminology anatomy and physiology, medical office procedures, and administrative skills. My Experience with the Instructors

One of the things I really enjoyed about the Keiser University Medical Assistant program was the instructors. They were all practicing Medical assistants themselves, so they were able to give us real-world examples of what we were learning in class. I never felt like I was just being taught out of a textbook; it was always relevant to what I would encounter in my career.

The Clinical Component

The Keiser University Medical Assistant program provides students with the opportunity to get real-world experience in the clinical setting. Students rotate through a variety of clinical rotations, including family medicine, obstetrics/gynecology, pediatrics, and general surgery. The program also includes an externship, which allows students to apply their knowledge and skills in a real-world setting.

The Externship

The Externship is the last aspect of the Keiser University Medical Assistant Program. This is a chance for students to put their knowledge and skills to the test in a real-world setting. The externship lasts four weeks and takes place at a healthcare facility that has been approved by the university. Students are expected to work full-time, Monday through Friday, during the externship.

The externship is an unpaid position, but students may be able to receive academic credit for their work. In order to receive academic credit, students must complete all required paperwork and meet all deadlines.Students must also maintain a daily log of their work activities and submit it to their instructor at the end of the externship.

What I Love about Being a Medical Assistant

There are many reasons why I love being a medical assistant. One reason is that I enjoy helping people. As a medical assistant, I am able to help patients in many ways. I can help them by taking their blood pressure, answering their questions, and providing them with information about their health conditions.

Another reason why I love being a medical assistant is that I have a lot of contact with different types of people. The Not-So-Good Stuff

The not-so-good stuff about this program is that it is very expensive. I know that most people say that you get what you pay for, but I am not sure if that is the case here. I also feel like the curriculum is very outdated and needs to be revamped.

Would I Recommend Keiser University’s Medical Assistant Program?

I would recommend Keiser University’s Medical Assistant program to someone who is seeking a career in the medical field. The curriculum is extensive and covers all aspects of the medical field. The instructors are experienced and knowledgeable. The externship opportunities are great. Overall, I had a positive experience with the program and would recommend it to others.
