Chaffey College’s medical assistant program is a one-year, full-time program that prepares students for an entry-level position in the medical field. The program provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform basic clinical and administrative tasks in a medical office or clinic.

Medical assistants are multi-skilled health professionals who perform a variety of administrative and clinical tasks to support the work of physicians and other health care professionals. Upon completion of the program, you’ll be eligible to take the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) exam. The CMA credential is nationally recognized and will give you a competitive edge when seeking employment.
