CHIP provides health insurance coverage to low-income children under age 19 who are not eligible for full Medicaid benefits. The income limit for CHIP is $3,293 per month for a family of four.

What are the income limits for each type of PA Medical Assistance?

-For Children: The income limit is based on the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). For 2021, the limit is $51,040 for a family of four.

-For Parents and Caretakers: The income limit is 61% of the FPL, or $38,123 for a family of four in 2021.

-For Pregnant Women: The income limit is 133% of the FPL, or $80,660 for a family of four in 2021.

-For Adults without Children: The income limit is 100% of the FPL, or $51,040 for a family of four in 2021.
