Baxter Regional is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation governed by a Board of Trustees representing the dual counties of Baxter and Marion in North Central Arkansas. The hospital serves as the regional referral center for a catchment area of approximately 200,000 people inArkansas, southern Missouri and northern Louisiana. Baxter Regional is licensed for 355 beds and provides a full range of services including emergency care, cardiac care, intensive care, cancer care, maternity care, pediatrics and more. The hospital also offers several unique specialty services not commonly found in smaller rural communities such as sleep disorders, endocrinology and robotics surgery.

Baxter Regional’s medical staff consists of more than 400 physicians representing nearly 50 medical specialties.
